General web sites
Both hotels have great beaches.
Most of the beaches in the Hamptons/Amagansett/Montauk
require a town permit to park at them (although the restrictions might be over
by mid Sept.) so be careful where you park.
Our favorite beach (which is also the best surfing beach) is Ditch Plains (at the end of Otis Road) in Montauk. The summer house we rent is right around the corner.
Also, near the wedding is Atlantic Avenue Beach in Amagansett. We think there's a paid Lot Available
Montauk Downs, South Fairview Avenue, (631) 668-5000, Great 18-Hole Public Course
Call our buddy Capt. Chris Maccaro to charter the Freesprit - the best fishing boat in Montauk. We guarantee you'll have a great time if you go fishing with Chris! (631) 835-4604
Check out this site. The best surfing spot is in Montauk at Ditch Plains (right near the house we rented this summer).
For equipment and lessons and stuff:
Olympic Surf and Sport, Montauk Highway, (631) 267-6325, Ask for Lee.
Horse back riding
